A non-profit organization dedicated to providing clients in need with one hot meal a day in their own home for a temporary or long-term period of time....served with a smile.
This organization will deliver a hot meal Monday through Friday, including holidays, to qualified clients in southern Beaufort County which consists of Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, and Pritchardville.
The food will be delivered late morning for a mid-day meal.
Qualified clients are those who need our services as determined by an interview process at the time of referral.
No healthcare or social agency referral is necessary.
Meals are purchased by Meals on Wheels and prepared by the kitchen staff at Hilton Head Memorial Hospital, supervised by a certified dietitian.
Dietary needs for Low Sodium, Low Fat, Renal, Pureed, and Diabetic meals are provided.
Clients have some choice in their food selections unless restricted by their special diet.
